walking down memory lane

the boyband theme party made me recall those days back in secondary school. i was not a boyband freak but i was a Take That freak. i think they're different compared to the other boybands. their voices were nice, dance moves were cool and their songs were fantastic!

i went to youtube and downloaded their live performances. i could still remember how i spent my secondary school days with my girlfriends. we hung out at julie's place and watch their videos. now left are only memories.

actually, now i have a partner whenever i feel like singing Take That's songs. guess who?? HAFIZ!! hah! he loves Take That too...wahahaha.

suuuurrrprriisseee!!!!

yesterday was scheduled to have khatijah's birthday celebration. that was what i was told. so as usual we went to afah's place to prepare the food.

we got ourselves ready to head to pasir ris chalet

our bags are packed and we're ready to go.....

and yeah we reached safely...

we unpacked the food, arranged it on the table and waited for the birthday girl.

the birthday girl came (the one in pink). yang aku ni pelik asal eh diorang suruh aku masuk sekali dgn khaty. oklah...masuk...

hah, amek kau! surprise!! actually i went into a temporary blur moment. khaty said this,"ni untuk saya ke awak?" i went like, "tak tau!" why? cos my name was written backwards and i couldn't figure it out at all. confirmed!! the surprise birthday party was for the 2 of us.

the birthday cake...hah itu dia! birthday org lain, aku potong cake. birthday aku pun aku kena potong cake. aper ni? and one more, i actually prepared the food for the birthday party jugak! birthday girl kena prepare food eh...takpe, oleh sebab aku yang eldest, akan aku mengalah untuk korang2 semua eh...cet podah!

the room was nicely decorated. half was decorated with all the boyband stuffs and the other one was decorated with flowers, seashells, beach ball...ala ala beach gitu la..ok wait...when a birthday party is organised by the JI-ans, pls expect the unexpected...

see what i meant? we were told to dress up like this!

like i said, expect the unexpected. see! we were split up into groups. group members had to dress the birthday girl up in bikini. and we had a teeny weeny runway for us to catwalk down.

my group members...check out my bikini...it has my name on it...kinky.. next was the humming game. we had to hum a song and the group members had to guess the song. songs from boybands. we were like boyband freaks.

there's more!

we had to do a video clip. the organisers chose a song and they settled for "I'll Never Break Your Heart" by Backstreet Boys. video clip baik punyaaaaa!!! terlalu baik sampai organisers join in!! and now, the song keeps on playing in the head...damn it!

last one! they put our presents in the fridge. khaty and I had to choose presents for each other. and these are my presents. thank you so much.

after exams

exam's over last week. as usual, sastera's the 'killer' paper. what's new right? we studied at afah's place taking up our usual spot.

and this is my usual spot.

and i have spent my weekend without a single worry cos exam's over!! my weekend? when i say weekend of cos it'll be spent with haf. even if i spend my weekend to catch up with friends, it has never been without him.

was supposed to meet up a friend last sat but he was not feeling well. we had to cancel it. Haf and i ended up in toys r us..

he called saying he misses you

memories starting to creep in

was blog hopping this morning
came across a blog
after reading the entry
memories started creeping in

i accompanied her to the toilet
her body was so warm
i was holding on to her
she couldn't stand properly
she fell
was thinking of the worst
i cried and shouted for dad
i knew he was thinking of the worst too
i could hear his voice breaking when he called out her name

when she regained conciousness
all she said was, "i wanna sleep"
i was watching her sleep just to make sure she's alright
i stayed awake till it was time for me to go to work

few weeks ago
i dreamt that my tooth dropped
they said if u ever dream of such things
it means that you're going to lose something/someone close to you
haf said it means that you're going to suffer some hardship
but of cos he said not to believe in the dream too much because it is just a 'permainan tidur'

i'm feeling so scared
scared of losing her
when i was on the way to afah's place
i just can't stop thinking about what's gonna happen
there's just so many 'what ifs'
i almost teared

i may appear strong
i have to look as if i'm strong
why?
cos she needs me, she needs us
but i feel so weak inside

Day Out with Dearie

we haven't been spending truely quality time together cos of whatever happened i would say for the past 2 months ago. with him being so emotional and me with my cranky behaviour. when i thought everything was alright, i was wrong. i was about to feel ok with everything but now i dun feel ok at all. i dun like the idea and i repeat I DUN LIKE THE IDEA!!! not even a hug.

that was a digression? no! just wanna get things straight.

ok back to my day out with my dearie yesterday. he was right on time. i was not ready though. hee..sorry.. daddy made lopes so i brought some for him. went to eat. not a good meal though.

head for marina. wanted to find some footwear. no colour.

so we walked. to nowhere. settled down for some coffee. the seasonal drink is back- Toffee Nut Frappuccino. yummy!

(while waiting for pesta raya to start)

we went to esplanade to watch the Pesta Raya. the drama was good. but too bad we only watched part of it. the dance was good too. didn't get to see ayu dance. ah...i wanna dance too.

appreciating the art pieces....
